Pazaak?! Sweet!
Success is not defined by reaching the top of the mountain...but how far from the bottom you started from. The Saints have started from the depths of hell...
For them to reach The Superbowl is to most "a miracle"...but to win it....that would be "life altering" in a way no other fans in the world could even fathom.

Yeah I figured Pazaak would be good to pass the time. Either that or dice from Witcher.

Might this humble (heh heh) Battletech Master Pilot offer to run a "beginners' learner scenario" for players looking to learn the game of Arkham Horror?

I have a specific scenario based on the Arkham League stuff written out and playtested (many times private, once live so far at this year's Owlcon) to take the onus of "how do we handle this mythos stuff" off of the players and let them get used to the idea of being players in the game, and the rules of moving around Arkham and beyond...
Ask me about Jesus... Sure, what episode was he in again?

Hey Houston,
Yes, that does sound cool. Right now, I'm in the process of finalizing the schedule, and figuring what all we will be having at the con in terms of tabletop gaming. Expect a pm from soon, so we can discuss this further.

Arkham Horror is so fun.... at least if you dont end up in a loooong game.

WoW board game is pretty entertaining, too, but AH tends to be more entertaining.

Actually, it's just "Q". I had to put "Houston_" in front of it because the system didn't allow single-character usernames...

Well if you really want, I could gin up a nightmare scenario that I would call Arkham Horror: Joker Edition (not batman-joker, but Master Pilot Joker)... it "f'ing hates you all." ;)

Joker hates us all, you know that, he even told you why last time.

Any word yet on if there's gonna be a Gunslinger tournament this go around?

Hey everyone, got off the phone with Q and he was thinking that in addition to the demo for Arkham Horror, maybe he could run an advanced scenario for the game. So what do y'all think, would any of you be interested in that? If you are, please post such a desire here. Thanks!

Well I never played the game so I'm not sure what an advance scenario entitles. It does sound intriguing though.

If you want a general (not specific, I'll generate my own...) idea of what "advanced" scenarios might look like, the Arkham League stuff from Fantasy Flight Games is available here:
