What are your plans for Mechacon 5?

So many anime and games so much time to make stuff. I'm doing Shunsui from Bleach for sure and Rufus Shinra if they have another ball. Then i'm sure i would have to make another final fantasy since my friend is going to do Bleach with me i'll have to do Final fantasy with him. And there might be another super secret one if i have enough time to make it.

One of my friends seems excited about a .hack cosplay, so we may come as Subaru and Bear. XD Not set in stone yet, though.

I'm tryin' for Soren's mage outfit from Fire Emblem:Path of Radiance. I wonder if that counts as fantasy formal?

If things work out, I'll get to go as the Hero from Dragon Quest VIII next year.

Well, I suck at keeping cosplays secret. xD;

My main cosplay is Sora Naegino from Kaleido Star:


It's her outfit from the cover of one of the rare artbooks.
I'm also hoping to order the featers for her huge wings soon.
But just the feathers cost about $110. D;

Next is Fuko Ibuki from Clannad:


She has an obsession with starfish,


So I'm going to make about 100 or so mini wooden starfish and hand them out at Mechacon.
Hopefully my cosplay partner will film me handing them out and I'll put together sometime like the video.

I'm also working on Komugi from Magical Nurse Witch Komugi:


I'm actually working on her staff thing right now. x.x;

If I have time, and I tone up.. a lot, I'll do Grimmjow from Bleach:

Nothing's at all set in stone yet, but I do have a list of series I'd like to cosplay from...

Seeing as how I saw only two peeps dressed as characters from The World Ends With You, I figure that might be a pretty fun one to do and also be unique. I also share the anorexic arms of most of the main cast. XP

And of course there's always Kingdom Hearts. I wouldn't mind doing a revamp on the Heartless costume; maybe going for something more elaborate than a simple Shadow. If I could figure how to make some shoulder-armor, I could go as the new guy Terra (and find some pants that flare out as much as his).

All right, I've scratched Miku and Edward for now. It turns out some friends are organizing a Haruhi Suzumiya group, and (much to my horror) naturally I ended up being Mikuru, mainly because I dance Mikuru's part in Hare Hare Yukai XDD

And I figured I already have the Ouran uniform, why not get another wig so I can cause chaos as Tamaki? 8D My height would be more accurate than Haruhi, too XDD

Heh, I was the Ryoji walking around Saturday! =D There was also a Yukari with Mitsuru on Sunday, both of them were really nice.

I would love see more Persona 3 cosplayers next year. Though my sister and I were already considering doing Persona 4 cosplays for next year, I wouldn't mind taking out my Ryoji cosplay for another year if there would be more Persona 3 cosplayers.

But anyway... I'm with zimpirate, you should totally do Shinji!

With enough ingenuity, you can make anything! (cue unicorns and rainbows) I have a much better example on my computer of an epic Canti cosplay doing air guitar, my photos aren't well organized ;_;

A friend and I did L and Light this year, and while playing with our handcuffs, somehow came to the conclusion thaat Matt and Mello would be a fun pair to do...possibly with the handcuffs. XD I'm not sure if we'll attempt it for MechaCon 5 or not. I've also been contemplating doing Hisoka(Yami no Matsuei) and/or Hiro or ryuichi from Gravitation. If I become independently wealthy between now and then (or can do a lot of sweet talking and get someone to sew for me) I may do a Mana cosplay (Jrock band Malice Mizer).

Nothing's for sure, yet, but those are the ideas I've been tossing about. ^^
