How well does spray paint stand up after it hardens? (the glue technique i mean)

you mean using spray paint instead of paint? i've never used spray paint as a color, i used it as a gloss sealant and it worked fine, but you need something thick enough to cover the pours of the cloth and heavy acrylics, i find, work well! i know they make heavy coverage spray paints, though, so i would assume that would work as a paint over it.
